After increasing their production capabilities, they came to Blue Compass for help hatching a plan to poach more web traffic from competitors. To start, we completed our comprehensive Digital Discovery process, doing a deep dive on their existing website and comparing results to their top identified competitors. Armed with fresh insights from the Digital Discovery, we implemented a crystal clear digital marketing strategy to ensure OvaEasy would no longer be scrambling for visitors. To top it off, our team completed our first custom Shopify website design to transform OvaEasy’s website into an eye-catching ecommerce store showcasing their appetizing array of products readily available for purchase.

Cracking Shopify for an Exciting Ecommerce Website Design

When OvaEasy came to Blue Compass, they wanted to breathe new life into their brand and break out of their shell with a custom ecommerce website design. Eager to take on the challenge, our team learned Shopify’s preferred coding language and rewrote the theme to accommodate a new design. The result? We’re used to making web designs from scratch, but sometimes our team must adjust to work within the parameters of an existing design template. For this Shopify web design project, we quickly picked up on ways we could add our own custom flare and flip the focus to OvaEasy’s tasty cuisine. The homepage is packed with delicious photos, clear calls to action, and product recipes and reviews to inspire interest in OvaEasy’s healthy egg products. Meals take center stage with a fun dynamic element, featuring a revolving plate showcasing new ways for customers to whip up their favorite eggs.

SEO

All successful web strategies boil down to a strong SEO foundation. When OvaEasy began working with Blue Compass in 2021, we audited their website and discovered 3,881 total SEO errors scrambling up the site. With this many errors, Google has difficulty recognizing the value of any given page on the site, so content doesn’t perform as well as it could on search results pages. With our technical ecommerce SEO expertise, we’ve successfully decreased their error count by 97%. OvaEasy started with an SEO grade of F on our scale and has now achieved a ranking of C, which is in the optimal range to be more competitive in search results.

Content Marketing

As part of OvaEasy’s new ecommerce web design and product focus, our SEO experts created a new product page template with our recipe for ecommerce SEO success, optimizing product pages with product-specific keywords and valuable selling points.
