Business Development Strategist

The Blue Compass Business Development Strategist position exists to increase sales opportunities and promote the Blue Compass brand. This position’s priorities are to identify and initiate action on new project opportunities with potential and current clients, monitor and respond to new business inquiries, create proposals and estimates, meet with potential clients to discuss new projects and foster relationships, monitor, analyze and optimize all new business efforts and strategize and manage efforts to grow company brand awareness.

Business Development Strategist Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Identify new project opportunities with potential and current clients
  • Facilitate plans to capitalize on these opportunities
  • Reach out to potential clients to propose new business
  • Meet with potential clients to foster relationships
  • Monitor and respond to new business inquiries
  • Create proposals and estimates
  • Attend new business meetings
  • Track individual sales data within HubSpot
  • Reach or exceed quarterly and yearly sales goals
  • Keep team updated via HubSpot on project status and communicate department needs for resources and training
  • Contribute to proactive prospect list and maintain active target accounts
  • Collaborate with team members on the development and digital marketing teams to accurately estimate projects
  • Actively grow expertise in business development, digital marketing and website development

Requirements For The Business Development Strategist Role:

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, digital technology and/or marketing field
  • Four-year degree
  • Industry certifications are desirable
