Men’s Style Lab
Think food delivery, but instead of Chinese food, you get stylish clothing that you can try on, keep or ship back. Sounds too good to be true right? Thank goodness for the Des Moines-based virtual stylists at Men’s Style Lab. Simply submit your man’s “style DNA” and their stylists will handpick items that will ship directly to your door. Take five days to try them on, keep what you love and send back the rest. Pick to receive shipments every 30, 60 or 90 days. Easy peasy.
If you haven’t already noticed, Des Moines and its surrounding communities have become a bit of a hub for a wide variety of brewmasters. Valentine weekend or not, schedule an Iowa Brew Tour with the beer enthusiast in your life. Either join a public tour of three local breweries or schedule a private tour where you get to pick your favorite route.
A gift from Bozz Prints is perfect for any Des Moines native or transplant. Artist John Bosley helps to bring a little style and Midwestern flare to any apartment or home through his printmaking. From cityscapes to notable landmarks, there is a print that will display your man's love for his city while you show your love to him.

Trust me when I say there is something for everyone at RAYGUN.
Women aren’t the only ones that deserve a spa day. Treat your gentleman to a massage, manicure or pedicure to help relax the day away. If you’re closer to downtown, try the East Village Spa, or the Spa at West Glen if you’re further west.
Family-Friendly Valentine Events in Des Moines
Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival Jr.
Yup, you heard me. Baconfest Jr has arrived. If you’re not familiar with Baconfest at this point, I might question whether or not you’re a true Iowan or simply living under a rock. Either way, Baconfest is an event you don’t want to miss, and we’re certain the pint-sized edition will be just as fun. With help from the Science Center of Iowa, Baconfest Jr is helping educate young ones about all things bacon.
